There's some management reshuffling happening at Guerrilla Games, and in the announcement they may have possibly teased the next Horizon game. It'll be free and open to the public, but be prepared for long queues, as this beta is going to stress test the game's servers. They are challenging players of popular shooters to try and follow the established Rules of War, and a few streamers are rising to the occasion. Capcom did a fantastic job of resurrecting all the best parts of the classic Resident Evil 2 and making them look, sound, and play like a 2019 game.
Editor's Note: This review has been updated to correct a factual error regarding the way you unlock the 2nd Game mode, and as a result, the score has been increased from 8.8 to 9.0. We regret the error and really like Resident Evil 2.

Don't Look Up is in select theaters on Dec. 10 and will stream on Netflix Dec. 24. Review by Samantha Nelson.
A bleak commentary on humanity's failure to address climate change, Don't Look Up eviscerates disaster movie tropes and the institutions that fail to stand up for the greater good of humanity. While McKay makes some missteps with his direction and screenplay, it's an overall strong outing driven by an incredible cast.

The Wheel of Time premieres with three episodes on Amazon Prime Video on Nov. 19, 2021. Spoiler-free review by Samantha Nelson.
The Wheel of Time is gorgeous, well-acted, and strongly written, a show that understands the characters and plot of Robert Jordan's books without being slavishly loyal to the source material. The first three episodes use a mix of gripping action and personal dramas to bring the pages to life while also providing an accessible introduction to series newcomers. The groundwork showrunner Rafe Judkins is laying shows he has a plan for the future. Hopefully, he will be given the time and money to see it through.

Brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, "Dash." While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city's treasure from her latest story. Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it's lost forever.
