Saviez-vous que Netflix prépare une adaptation de « Squid Game » dans la vraie vie ? La plateforme est а la recherche de 456 concurrents venus du monde entier. Un pactole de plus de 4 millions de dollars est en jeu.

Globalement cette tele réalité va reprendre le principe de la série sud-coréenne dans la vraie vie et, évidemment, sans aucun candidat tué. Au terme du plus grand casting de l'histoire de la télé-réalité 456 vrais concurrents prendront part au jeu en quête d'un gros lot de 4,56 millions de dollars.

Ses organisateurs recherchent des  participants anglophones venant de n'importe quelle partie du monde. Parmi les conditions requises il faut avoir au moins 21 ans et être « disponible pour participer au programme pendant un maximum de quatre semaines.

Le tournage est actuellement prévues début 2023. Il faudra également être en mesure de voyager dans tous les endroits qui seront spécifiés.

De vrais joueurs seront plongés dans l'univers emblématique de Squid Game sans jamais savoir ce qui les attend. Le site dédié et son formulaire de recrutement promet une série d'épreuves а couper le souffle. Aucun candidat ne devrait être blessé pendant le tournage.

Ca peut surprendre puisque, dans la série, les perdants sont tués au fur et а mesure des épreuves. 
Vue comme une critique acide des dérives du capitalisme, Squid Game est une série tv qui met en scène des centaines de personnages issus des franges les plus marginalisées de Corée du Sud participant а des jeux d’enfants comme « 1-2-3 soleil » pour remporter une énorme somme d'argent au risque d’être tués.

Dans la future émission de télé-réalité, le pire qui puisse arriver est de rentrer chez soi les mains vides, rassure Netflix sur le site. Qu'ils gagnent ou perdent, tous les joueurs sortiront indemnes. Mais, si vous gagnez, vous gagnez gros ! insiste la plateforme dans le formulaire de recrutement.

Cette annonce a été faite quelques jours après l'officialisation de la deuxième saison de Squid Game. En avril, son créateur, Hwang Dong-hyuk, avait indiqué qu'elle ne serait pas prête avant 2024.  Très violente, la série a rencontré un succès planétaire et est devenue un phénomène de société.
