A bleak commentary on humanity's failure to address climate change, Don't Look Up eviscerates disaster movie tropes and the institutions that fail to stand up for the greater good of humanity. While McKay makes some missteps with his direction and screenplay, it's an overall strong outing driven by an incredible cast.

The Steam Deck, is a handheld gaming PC with a form-factor similar to that of a Nintendo Switch. No hard release date has been given, but the Steam Deck has a launch planned for Holiday 2021, with a pre-order reservation system launching in the near future. The price starts at $399, with models that have more storage at $529 and $649 as well.

I Am Fish is wacky, hilarious, and sometimes agonizing, but still well worth the time for those with a stomach for it. Its intentionally maddening controls and platforming are gimmicks that sometimes overstay their welcome, especially when bad checkpointing and cheap deaths undo all your progress, but most of the time it does a good job at balancing difficulty and rewarding persistence. Even after hundreds of humbling deaths, its lasting charm stuck with the whole way through.

Baz Luhrmann's Elvis is a dizzying and at times even overwhelming chronicle of the rock icon. Austin Butler is stellar as Elvis, giving it his absolute all in every scene. Tom Hanks cleverly plays against type as the manipulative and greedy Colonel Parker. While the supporting cast isn't given as many dimensions as they could have been in say, a TV miniseries, Luhrmann tells Presley's story on a grand scale suited only for the big screen, delivering an epic yet intimate maelstrom of emotions, music, ideas, and eye candy. The film's breathless pacing may befit the fevered lifestyle of a rock star, but it can also rush through necessary moments of dramatic reflection. Baz Luhrmann's Elvis is a wild ride clearly made with a big hunk o' love for its subject, and that zeal for capturing Presley's humanity, both by its director and its star, outweighs the film's excesses and shortcomings in the end. Elvis made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. It opens in theaters on June 24, 2022.

"With its typically deep and rich career mode and its usual class-leading spectrum of assists and difficulty options, F1 22 maintains this series' run as the most fully-featured and accessible reproduction of a single modern motorsport on the market - and long-awaited tweaks to some of its most reused elements haven't gone unnoticed, either. It's not quite as bold as F1 2021, though, and the footwear-and-furniture-focussed F1 Life mode really isn't a patch to cover the lack of last year's ambitious story mode."

The Quarry is worth playing at least once, but when compared to Until Dawn, it's one step forward and one step back. It features a solid script performed by a great cast, with a slow-burn story that you can guide to a few different satisfying (or anticlimactic) conclusions. It's not very interactive, though, and that makes replaying it as intended a chore. It's still a fun experience, particularly on your first time through it, but Supermassive Games' formula could use some quality-of-life improvements.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising does exactly what any good companion game should do. Not only does this RPG set the stage nicely for the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, it's an enjoyable adventure that stands up on its own merits. It's true that combat's a little basic and the optional fetch quests can become rather tedious, but thanks to the dynamic cast of characters, there's a great story worth exploring. Its campaign didn't last terribly long but it inspires curiosity to see where this adventure goes next - and that was its main job.
